Indreni Group Pty Ltd is a proudly Australian-owned hospitality and lifestyle company headquartered in New South Wales. From humble beginnings, we have grown into a diverse family of businesses united by a shared commitment to exceptional service and community connection.
Our portfolio spans dining, retail, and event venues — each designed to bring people together and create lasting memories. Whether it's a quiet meal at our cafe, stocking your pantry at our supermarket, or celebrating life's milestones at one of our function centres, Indreni Group is here to make every moment special.
Our story
Indreni Group has been operating since 2017. Over the years the group has grown into five businesses across Sydney's St George area: two function centres in Rockdale, a garden-style venue in Peakhurst, a cafe in Kogarah and a supermarket in Rockdale.
Indreni Group owns all five of these businesses. Founder and Chief Executive Officer Laxman Sapkota leads the group, and the group is built on quality service, community values and memorable experiences.
Our five businesses
Each business has its own character and its own website. Together they cover celebrations, food and everyday shopping for the community around us.
- Indreni Function Centre (Rockdale): A premier event and reception space designed for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and large gatherings — creating unforgettable experiences.
- Jharna Function Centre (Rockdale): A versatile venue equipped with premium amenities including private rooms and quality sound systems, perfect for celebrations of all sizes.
- Gardens on Forest Function Centre (Peakhurst): A stunning garden-style event venue blending elegant indoor ballrooms and picturesque outdoor spaces, ideal for weddings, corporate events, and special occasions.
- Cafe Indreni (Kogarah): A welcoming cafe destination serving delicious food and beverages, where guests can relax, connect, and enjoy great moments together.
- Indreni Supermarket (Rockdale): A community-focused retail store offering quality products and daily essentials to customers in and around Sydney.
Rooted in the Nepalese community of southern Sydney
Our businesses sit in a part of Sydney with a large Nepalese community. According to the 2021 Census, 15.8% of Rockdale residents were born in Nepal (2,451 people), and 11.3% of Kogarah residents were born in Nepal (1,848 people). Across the wider Georges River local government area, Nepal is the third most common country of birth, at 5.7% of residents.
That community shapes who we serve. We welcome families, friends and neighbours from every background, and we are proud to offer the food, celebrations and groceries that make Nepalese and South Asian families feel at home, while keeping the door open to everyone.
